All University and governmental smoking policies and regulations will be consistently and actively enforced throughout the Union facilities, indoors and out. Violations of the policy will be addressed in accordance with the University’s “Procedures for Smoking Policy Violations” for handling offenses committed by staff, faculty, students and non-campus affiliates.
Additionally, for the safety, comfort and convenience of our customers, as well as ease and consistency in enforcement, the use of any smoking or vapor apparatus, delivery system, or technology is expressly prohibited inside the Union and the WELL. Policy exceptions for specific entertainment or ceremonial purposes may be granted at the Assistant Director and Director level on a case-by-case basis.
